Family nurse practitioner Randy Baxter, DNP is a lifelong Wyomingite who joined 307Health in June of 2024. He brings 16 years of patient care experience to our team. Randy’s professional objectives are to “provide holistic and equitable primary care in Bighorn Basin; to empower patient autonomy and improve quality of life; and to be a lifelong learner committed to progressive professional development.”
Randy’s started with completion of his associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) in 2010 from Northwest College, followed by his Bachelor of Nursing degree (BSN) in 2016 from the University of Wyoming, and then his Doctor of Nursing degree (DNP) in 2019 from the University of Wyoming. Randy is accredited as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) by the American Nursing Credentialling Center with full prescribing and ordering privileges in the state of Wyoming.
Randy was recognized in 2016 with the Making A Difference In Wyoming’s Health Award for demonstrating commitment to continued education and excellence in nursing practice and, again, in 2019 with the Rural Advanced Practice Nursing Award for demonstrating exemplary practice in rural nursing. When receiving this award, one preceptor wrote, “Randy displays excellent professionalism, ethics and legal behaviors. He is self-motivated, reliable, and accepting of patients of many incomes and health literacy levels. He appears to meet the patient where they are and works from there to advance the patient’s health and health awareness.”
Randy and his wife, Jenna, and their three children make their home in Powell, Wyoming. He enjoys the wide variety of family and outdoor activities offered in the Big Horn Basin and surrounding Wyoming mountain range.
